what you can't tell is that matt is at a table by himself across the room. i am supervising all four kids painting in a crowded shop. i needed a bath and a glass of wine that night! love.
the boys were SO excited to have their first christmas concert at preschool. manning might have been most excited. he loves singing and dancing and has been to the concert many times over the years. today was his turn!
this morning performance used to be called the "grandparent" performance because they didn't have enough room for extended family to come to the nighttime performance, but now it is just an option for those who have schedules allowing for daytime attendance. i use it for taking video and pictures so that i can actually watch the nighttime performance.
and with that, here are some videos of the boys...
two notes: 1. maddux could not hold still and was all over his buddy brayden, 2. manning (who if you found in the video above, was expressionless during the group numbers) sang loud and proud during his class performance.
loved seeing these two and can't wait for daddy to enjoy the show on sunday. love.
mason likes his hair on the longer side (maybe it is all of the compliments he gets on it), but he also really, really wants a mohawk. so tonight we took him a little shorter. love.
today was a first, bringing home a friend from school for a playdate! we have found ourself with an empty carseat so it is super easy to bring home a friend after preschool. it was so much fun to hear them chatting on the car ride home (and how often they called each other "buddy"). lunch got pretty silly too...
manning wasn't too sure about being the odd man out. so he came to hang with me. in disguise. love.
