our couples bible study had another family social - a pizza party! everyone got to make their own pizzas and it was a big hit. even if it did take a longer time than anticipated to feed everyone, but it wasn't a big deal at all and the pizza was worth the wait! yummy!
they let the kids go first and it was funny seeing them all try to decide what to put on their pizzas.

after we finished eating - or after the kids finished eating - they turned on the disco lights and some dance music. when "gangnam style" came on, madelyn came over and said, "i don't think that this song is appropriate for us." i asked her why not? (even though i did agree.) she told me that it says "ugly ladies" and that isn't very nice. she then asked if she could still dance and i told her that she could. a few minutes later she ran back over to tell me that it wasn't "ugly ladies", it was "sexy ladies" and was it still okay for her to be dancing. so proud of her judgement. love.
