softball assessment

madelyn is really excited about softball. tonight was her skill assessment (i think that they try to make sure the teams are even) and a parent meeting. she wouldn't let me take her picture, but here is a video of where she is starting out.

the league is fairly serious about the spiritual development in addition to the athletic skills. each practice ends with a 15 minute devotional and there is a parent/athlete book with practice drills, a devotion and a memory verse. the parent and the athlete are both required to memorize the verse and sign the book.

we are all excited to see how it goes with our little artist. love.
