they are very happy with the way the bone is healing - nice and straight - but the cast is heavy and a little looser (now that the swelling is down) so they recommended he wear a sling to keep his arm in the right position.
while mason wasn't interested in a sling last week, he was very willing after spending the time holding up the heavy cast. (the first night he woke me up several times to tell me that his cast was heavy. you can imagine how happy i was to hear that over and over when i wanted to be sleeping.)
they also offered to get that tooth for him. that thing sticks almost straight out! but he wants nothing to do with pulling it. so we wait. love.
