snow!

the snow was beautiful to wake up to, but it made all of the running around we had to do a lot more challenging. today just happened to be a day with two doctor appointments in the morning, snack friend, library class and normal to and from preschool.  we barely made it but we did.  everyone just moves a little more slowly when they are all bundled up.

manning's first time in a winter coat and snow boots - he quite liked them.

it wasn't a very cold day (right around 32) but it kept snowing off and on.  during one sunny break i let the two big boys bundle up and play in the snow.

the boys asked to sled.  i tried to explain that there wasn't really enough snow, but we had a good time trying anyway (and, yes, i took a few turns too).

the boys were hysterical.  they were having so much fun throwing snowballs at each other.  they weren't quite an even match, but maddux laughed that much harder when mason would hit him in the face - thankfully.  i pan the sky in this video to show the next snow storm rolling in.

now this one cracks me up, watch maddux take a snowball to the face at the very beginning.  they were firing them at each other close range and i just happened to catch it.  the dark storm clouds are now over us and pelting us with driving sleet/snow.

after all of the snow fun we went in for some hot chocolate.

manning woke up and just wanted a picture.

madelyn joined us for a cup in her mug from shannon's baby shower once she got home from school.
