nana visit

nana flew down on wednesday so that she could join us for the ultrasound. madelyn was in school on wednesday so nana just got to relax while mason was sleeping away and i was working. the ultrasound was on thursday afternoon so more time around the house in the morning while i was working.

friday morning we took nana to a large, annual rummage sale (i still call it a yard or garage sale though). it was warmer out than i was expecting and i think everyone was exhausted by the time we got back to the car. but we got lots of great clothes for all three kids and madelyn came home with a toy vacuum cleaner.

saturday morning we took nana with us to the kids' workshop at home depot. this was a 'by appointment' session so it was a little different to get there and there were only about 10 kids and it was much quieter - not at all like it normally is!

the nice thing about it was that it was easier to get mason up to the table with us (not that he really cared). the bad part was that the staff was much more involved. normally they just stamp the project and i can write her name and the date neatly on the bottom. this time the lady was calling her madison and after we corrected her she still spelled madelyn's name wrong because she didn't copy it off her apron or ask any of us how it was spelled.

at least it was a fun soccer game and madelyn really enjoyed making it and playing with it in the car on the ride home.

after home depot we got a quick lunch at panera before taking nana to the airport while daddy headed off to a charity golf tournament.

we were glad that nana was able to come to the ultrasound with us. love.

The pictures of Nana with the kids are so cute. What a neat game that Maddie made at Home Depot. It is always frustrating when someone writes the name wrong when you could have done it correctly by yourself. Love the last picture of Maddie.
