morning with manning

manning wakes up ready to roll most mornings!  he usually is being noisy by 6am, but i try to make him wait until 7am.

today he was cleaning the floor after breakfast.  there are a lot of spills around here so he has seen everyone get a towel and wipe up their mess lots (and lots) of times.  but this was a first for him.  he spilled some water - like a few drops - and then got a towel to wipe it up.  he didn't stop there either! he wiped off the entire kitchen floor - and he did it with a smile.  matt and i were laughing about how quickly they grow out of this phase.

 after getting the three bigs off to school, manning and i went out to run a few errands.  he got pretty antsy while we were in line at target and ended up in the basket instead of the seat in the cart.  of course, once we got to the car he didn't want to get out.

next stop was bjs and he was over riding in a cart.  thankfully, he walked very nicely while holding my hand.  but once we had peanut butter pretzels he had to carry them.  he thinks they are the sole source of food in the house - he wants them for every snack and meal.  he only got back into the cart once he got tired of carrying them.  he did insist that they 'sit' next to him though.

manning is super agreeable as long as we are doing what he wants to do.  it is so fun getting to see his personality more and more.  at least it is fun most of the time...  love.
