i just took another look at her report card (i had to sign and return it this year) and she can't get anything higher than "m"s (meets standards)! that just seems crazy. last year she could earn an "e" for areas she was ahead of what was required, but there is nothing like that now. you either get "m" or "n" something or other that means needs work.
