date night

i must say that i was a little jealous about madelyn and daddy's date night! a fairly nice restaurant near us has a 'kids eat free' night on mondays - or so we had heard.  and we had a $5 gift card from a reading event at the library this summer. so we planned for madelyn to take daddy out to dinner for his birthday last month.  only daddy had to work late the monday before his birthday and there hasn't really been a monday that has worked since.  but tonight was the night.  madelyn got dressed to the nines and could not wait to take daddy out.

it sounds like they had a wonderful night together.  matt said that the company was wonderful and madelyn said that they had a yummy peanut butter dessert.

it is so special that they could have a night out together.  love.
