there is a promise of spring!! today it was sunny and nearing 50 degrees! we were able to go to the zoo with some friends and no coats! (can you tell that i was a little excited?) unfortunately, manning wasn't really all that excited. he was quite cranky but it was still a lovely day. for some reason i only took these two pictures.

| manning ran away when i tried to take a picture of him and maddux. the dark bit to the left of maddux' head is a bear. they were both looking at it, or at least i thought so until i got down at eye level with manning. he wasn't looking at the bear, excitedly, but the melting ice dripping into the puddle close to the glass! he didn't even see the bear until i pointed it out! |
mason talked to me about imaginext the entire way home from the zoo. he hardly took a breath! it was so nice to get out and enjoy some sunshine. love.

I didn't wear a coat Friday and just a light jacket last few days. So nice! Tomorrow is supposed to be almost 70!!!! I just took Max for a long walk -- maybe our first of the year? Winter, trips and concussion have limited him to the yard or golf path.

I can't even imagine living in the winter weather up north this year. Its been great here - our kind of cold. I don't think I could hang in the north.
