preschool easter parties

i rarely, very rarely get to help in the kids classrooms. first, because there are very few opportunities, and, second, because there are even fewer opportunities where my sidekick will be welcome. today, we were able to help hide eggs for the boys' easter parties and then help with the games in maddux' class. as you can see, maddux was pretty excited to have us there.

manning and i facilitated a shell game with egg tops and a small toy chick. the kids quickly discovered that they could tell which egg top covered the chick because it was the darkest. they still thought that it was funny for me to try and trick them into getting it wrong by scrambling the eggs quickly.

these are the special bags mason and maddux made for their egg hunts today. love.
