after church, nana was kind enough to take us out for brunch (madelyn and my favorite!). after several spirited rounds of "i spy," we were shown to a table. to wait some more. we were quickly provided service with drinks and orders taken, but then more waiting. the kids came up with a sort of shell game with guessing the flavors of the jellies on the table by putting them facedown. madelyn made an impressive creamer pyramid too.
i must say that the kids were wonderful at waiting and the food was delicious, but it was practically time to start dinner when we got home! love.
