church picnic

it was a big sunday at church. it was the last week for the kids in their classes before they "graduated" up for the new school year and we had a family picnic after church. only it rained and the whole party was scaled down and moved indoors.

backseat riding is so special.

maddux is moving upstairs to the kindergarten - 2nd grade hall with mason.

happily, the rain didn't scare off most of the church members, but there was no seating anywhere! it was cute because families were just picnicking on the floor all throughout the church. we knew that we could find some chairs on our hallway and it would be quiet enough for conversation.

we enjoyed our time with papa and nana even though the visit was shorter than they would have liked. love.
