slack jawed

i had to take manning in to have his ears checked again (after his back to back infections and perforated eardrum he still had fluid on his ears a few weeks ago). while we were waiting the boys pulled up chairs to watch "beauty and the beast". i couldn't resist a picture when they were all watching with open mouths. they have all seen the movie before (we own a copy) but i guess it was extra captivating today.

i am happy to report that manning's ears were perfectly healthy (i was not optimistic based on his recent behaviors) and the doctor was kind enough to take a listen to maddux' lungs (he has been coughing a ton). he got an 'all clear' too. she said that unless he got a high fever too, it was just a run of the mill cough.

while i was pleased to learn that they were healthy, i was a little bummed to not have an explanation for their nightly visits to our bed recently. love.
