madelyn's class went on a field trip to see "lyle, lyle crocodile" at a community theater for their field trip. the pictures are courtesy of the school (madelyn is in the stripes near the center of the bus picture and in the second to last row of the theater pictures).
madelyn doesn't remember, but we went to see "if you give a mouse a cookie" at this same theater when we first moved to ohio with her preschool near our apartment. the show was pretty impressive last time and she said that today's show was great too!
on their way back to school they stopped at a park for fun and lunch - another super special treat. i just love that they brought back field trips last year. love.

'Brought back field trips' - they were gone? That's awful. I'm pretty sure its up to schools/grades to fundraise for them, but they go on at least one, if not two a year. Then, there are BIG ones in 4th and 5th grade.
