let's hit the road!

florida, here we come! our plan is to drive all night and stop for breakfast in atlanta with shannon, allie, and uncle derek.  we decided on a road trip versus flying because of all the gear for the kids (three car seats, a stroller, a pack-n-play, snacks, etc.) and, of course, it is much cheaper!

and then as a last minute bonus for driving - i discovered that all of our luggage is somewhere in storage and there is no way that we could have found it for a flight!  all of our clothes had to be packed in grocery totes.  matt even got into the road trip spirit and got a case for the top of the van!  could we be any more cliche?

we so need this vacation and can't wait to meet two nephews who have been born since our last trip two years ago, have some fun, and visit family and friends for the next week.  love.
