first day of school!

yes, we got in at 2:30am, but madelyn was bright-eyed and at school by 9am. she was so excited!  i suggested the picture but she chose the location to take it - outside with the school behind her. school had actually started while we were on vacation so the rest of her class started last wednesday.

we are really going to miss this school when we move. madelyn has spoken with me about it a few times and it has made me second-guess enrolling her here for only two months.  but every day she is happy when i pick her up and i think it is good for all of us.  mason does a lot more talking while she is in school and it makes it so much easier to run errands.

we are so proud of her and love her so much.  love.
