manning not napping and some glimpses of spring weather has really been amazing! the boys and i are able to do things in the afternoon now. today we just went for a walk to feed the ducks. mason rode his bike and manning, maddux and i walked (yay for no stroller). unfortunately, while the pond behind our house has mostly defrosted, the larger ponds are still frozen solid and we did not find any ducks. but it was a nice walk and we made our way over to the neighborhood playground. thankfully, the playground was not as wet and muddy as the trail!
the boys had a great time until manning managed to knock his head on the top of the slide and was then ready to leave. when we got back the boys and i got the afternoon snack and enjoyed it in the sunshine on the front porch while we were waiting for madelyn's bus.
days like this get me SO excited for how fun spring and summer are going to be!! love.

I need the downtime of nap time right now, but I'm very much looking forward to nap free afternoons and the ability to go and do things that will provide. Mostly for the biggest kids.
