a visit with grandma isn't complete without a trip to her favorite place - chuck e. cheese. (there is no sarcasm here - my mom loves chuck e. cheese.) unfortunately, to avoid going on the weekend, we had to go without madelyn. she actually wasn't as upset as i had expected she might be, but we did bring her three ring 'prizes'.
surprisingly, when we got there we found two school buses in the parking lot - a field trip! i din't know there were field trips to chuck e. cheese. it wasn't as big of a deal as we had feared because they were heading out by the time we were finishing up our lunch.

grandma gets a little crazy with the tokens and we earned enough tickets to pick something off the wall - a first for us. the boys were extremely excited about the opportunity and their selection.
our outing exhausted everyone and while manning took a snuggly nap on grandma's (crazy) teddy bear sweatshirt, she read books to the other two boys.
