good-bye bowling

our friends moving to florida (lakeland) threw a kids going away party at a local bowling alley. their mom said that it was a lot easier than organizing a dozen playdates! and the kids had a great time. at first the bumpers weren't up and they didn't have the bowling 'ramps', but mason still rolled a strike on his first attempt! and a spare on his second.

manning's first attempt wasn't as successful. it literally stopped in the middle of the lane (see picture).

mason finished with a score of 100!

madelyn finished with a score of 90.

it is sad to say good-bye to such great friends, but bowling was a lot of fun! madelyn cried good-bye again. love.
