manning is going to spend his entire birthday in the car tomorrow, so we celebrated tonight. there weren't really presents. he opened one from papa and nana sunday while we skyped and another one from big pop and grandma that he has seen several times 'hidden' under our bed since grandma's last visit. his siblings did make him cards that he really enjoyed.
last month, he saw a dog cupcake 'cake' in the bakery case that he really loved so i knew right away what we must get for our celebration (and it gave me one less thing to prepare before our trip!).
i must say that the toasted spots made it taste like s'mores - delicious! manning was very happy with his celebration. now to hit the road! love.
