surprise! it's hot here too! and their air conditioner even broke while we were at disney, so it is really hot. thank goodness they went with the pool instead of a kitchen remodel! while my poor parents worked out what to do about the air conditioning, we stayed cool and comfortable in the pool.
once the short-term repair was taken care of (they will still need to replace their unit - boo), grandma and big pop were able to join us and cool down too.
we took a break from the pool to celebrate the three birthdays - again!

since it was so hot, we decided to go to the beach for sunset. we had to suffer and have dinner early - ribs, snow crab legs, twice-baked potatoes and broccoli. yum, yum, yum, yum! we took this picture to send to uncle josh saying that we would try to save him some. maybe. love.
