georgia birthday breakfast

we stayed with papa and nana in a cabin at the state park. although, "cabin" is a misnomer, this was a fairly large, 3-story house. the picture shows the view from outside matt and my room on the second floor to where the kids, papa and nana were eating breakfast downstairs.

after breakfast, papa and nana celebrated the kids' birthdays with gifts!

nana couldn't find a yellow dog so she bought a yellow lab stuffed animal instead.

and not to be left out, maddux received an orange shirt from their trip to times square.

the kids were all delighted with their gifts. however, they were disappointed to not be able to open them. we have a lot of stops ahead of us this week and don't want to have a lot of pieces to lose so admiring the box is the best they will get until we return home. on to the next adventure! love.
