we took a picture of mason on his way to "silly sock" day at school (it is difficult to show silly socks when it is cold out). little did we know, this would be the last we would see of mason's winter coat! he came home from school without it saying that he wore it to recess and when they came in to have lunch, he hung it up. after lunch he went to get it and it was gone! he had checked the lost and found, checked the cafeteria again and looked around the classroom. gone.
mason is usually the one who would misplace his head if it wasn't attached, but in this case, he clearly knew where he had left it and there was little chance it has actually gotten lost. we discussed how someone must have thought that is was their coat and we would just have to wait for it to show up (and i would start shopping around for a new one!). love.
