a new day

i am happy to report that mason woke up feeling fine and fever free this morning.  he did have a spike to 102 again around dinner time but it was short lived.  since mason was feeling better we did run a few errands this morning.  i have been working so much the past week and half that i haven't really been spending any time with the kids so we picked up a few donuts for a mid-morning snack and stopped by a 'new' park.  however, the play equipment was overshadowed by the cement truck nearby.

manning loves that he is able to play too now! but the truck was too cool to ignore.

manning might have been a bit small for this swing.  he did like having a face rest though.

i thought i had moved our leftover donuts to a safe location on the kitchen island before running to the bathroom, but, as manning pointed out, i did not.  i think he only actually ate one bite.  the rest were just poked into pieces with his finger.

i thought maddux was busy - he was nothing compared to manning!  but manning is a better listener.  he does challenge me but not on everything like maddux did. love.
