madelyn's first grade picture

it is better than last year, but i don't know why she pulls out this weird smile for her school pictures.  we had practiced at home before she left because i didn't like the rolled under top lip in last year's picture. (i was going to link to it but i don't think i even posted it because it was so crazy...)

so far this has been a really great start to first grade!  we have parent/teacher conferences coming up in a few weeks and i am really curious to see what her teacher has to say about her.  love.
