we had a pretty full day today. first we said good-bye to madelyn at the bus stop and then headed off to the ymca. the boys had fun in childcare while i took a class. when i was done showering, we went to the large motor room (think large vinyl covered blocks, steps and tunnels). they have been begging to go ever since we met some friends there on monday. i don't know how we didn't find out about this place sooner! the boys just love it.
we didn't stay long because it was pretty close to lunch time. a quick lunch at home and i took the boys for a surprise trip to the museum. i had a feeling that they might have a lot of halloween decorations and even if they didn't, the boys love the museum. i didn't get any decent pictures because you can't use a flash and the exposure isn't fast on my camera without a flash. here are a few of the 'best' ones...

we had a really great morning/early afternoon. and as a thank you, maddux and mason had complete meltdowns once we got home. maddux was able to shake it off but mason had to take a nap. he was so tired that he would have to stop crying to yawn. it was pretty exhausting for me too! love.
