madelyn paper art

madelyn has such an imagination when it comes to paper.  the way she comes up with making 3d shapes and structures always amazes me.  yesterday she brought home a bag and some yarn from school to make a puppet - i guess it was something from 'free time' that she didn't get to complete.  so all on her own, she decided to make it into an angel, made and attached a hallow and cut the yarn to look like parted, long hair.  i was pretty impressed with her finished product.

i did ask her why the angel was crying and she said it was because Jesus died on the cross and she loves Him.
