personalization

the kids are pretty excited about moving.  but i still wanted to do something that was 'special' for them.  we went to michaels to pick out supplies to make personalized door hangers for their new rooms!

they didn't quite get it at first, but once we started they were very into it.

 and here are our finished products (of course, we had to decorate both sides).

madelyn has a butterfly that she painted glued to the back side.  we had picked out a painted, flat, wood train to glue on mason's but he decided that he would rather keep it just for playing than glue it on to the door hanger.

we can't wait to hang them up this week!  love.
