today daddy had a very exciting "first" with mason - an nfl game! unfortunately, it was one of the coldest days of the year and the forecast called for a fair amount of snow. so they bundled up, packed snow wear and blankets and headed out after church.
the rest of us watched the game at home, where it was warm, and tried to see daddy and mason in the crowd. we were unsuccessful. apparently, it was very, very cold but mason still seemed to have a good time. matt said that he asked to go home shortly after the second half started. they actually walked in the door within seconds of the game ending.
the stadium is right on lake erie and the water was very rough (as we were shown during the broadcast).

matt had gotten a sports package at a silent auction a few months ago for the 2014 season. he thought that it was for next season, but he found out last week that it was for this season! they only had tickets for this weekend. i think boys guys had fun but aren't in a hurry to go back any time soon. love.
