home depot kids' workshop

daddy thought i was a little crazy, but we went to build holiday yard stakes today at home depot. he thought i was crazy because did we really need 12 yard stakes? but we were delighted to find a candy cane trail to the workshop and then a very festive set up with refreshments, a santa (none of the kids would go near him for a picture, face painting, paper chains and balloons.
following the candy cane trail.
each set had a snowflake, snowman and gingerbread man to build and paint before decorating with stickers. the kids decided that they wanted to use them as puppets instead of yard decorations. we are just hoping that they don't become weapons.

maddux and manning were the only ones interested in face painting - which was surprising. maddux had a ninja turtle (michelangelo - orange) and manning picked emmet.

the kids just love building workshops! love.

Seriously one of the best activities for kids. We love it, too!
