mason swimming in the "big pool"

usually, we have to watch swimming lessons from an observation room above the pool, but some construction in that part of the ymca has allowed us to remain on the bleachers on the pool deck during lessons. mason and maddux normally have lessons in the little pool which is still separated from me by glass. mason is so close to graduating to the next level and having classes in the big pool so each class he and another girl or two get to come out and swim a little out there to help with the transition. but mason is terrified of the big pool! it takes his teacher a while to just convince him to come sit on the side of the pool. he is so intimidated by the idea of not being able to touch that he won't do any of the skills he does with ease in the little pool (which is why he hasn't been able to move up levels). here is a rare opportunity to take a little video of him swimming in the big pool. love.
