yesterday morning, manning slid down the driveway on his face. sigh. he was running to take madelyn out to the bus stop and tripped. ouch. it didn't really bleed much, but he had a lot of raw skin. we had a super busy day running errands planned and he got a lot of sympathy.
and then it scabbed last night. double sigh. i describe it as a "mike tyson face tattoo" because it goes from his forehead right around his eye to his cheek. it could have been much worse so i am thankful that it is just a surface injury and doesn't bother him too much.

he did the same thing last week to his forearm (about a 2-inch by 1-inch injury). same story too, running to take madelyn to the bus stop.

I bet he's growing, too, which doesn't help coordination. Poor little guy.
