late night, early morning

it is a good thing that last night was so much fun, because this morning was a little painful. we practically had to peel madelyn out of bed for her 7:55 swimming lesson (they weren't in bed until 11:30pm or so last night). but she did it. and then we were off to soccer. everyone did okay getting there, but maddux became clingy and whiney pretty quickly. they did well through the game but were dragging - big time (not that the pictures show that well).

(true confession time: i am so late in posting - writing almost a month late, that i can't remember if they scored goals in this game. they score goals in almost every game though.)

next stop, softball for madelyn's first game. it was a gorgeous day which helped our tired bodies. we were actually able to lay down on our blanket for a while waiting for the game to start.

we survived softball too. we know that madelyn must be enjoying it because she didn't cry or complain at all - even with being so tired! love.
