last night, mason's coach told them to invite everyone they know to tonight's game. mason immediately thought of his buddy alex (of the numerous hug pictures). i told him that i wasn't sure coming to his game was something alex would want to do or be able to do, but i would ask. and, yes! alex was able to come. and he was very excited to see mason play too. he even wore his baseball jersey from last year (he is playing a summer season that just started).

when maddux' game was finished we moved over to mason's field (alex and madelyn had already gone over to sit with some other friends watching mason's game). i was taken with mason's long stride for staying off of the base.

so great to have alex celebrate the end of the season with us. both boys loved playing and are looking forward to next year. love.
