"house box"

what's better than christmas presents?  the box that they were shipped in!  both kids have been having a lot of fun in their new "house box".  i was going to cut windows in it and paint it like a house but they are having fun with it just the way that it is.  it is just big enough for both of them to get inside and close the 'doors'.

madelyn has learned how to 'roll' it on its side while inside and how to 'flip' it up.  these activities have caused some disagreements between them about how to best use the box.  i am actually surprised that it has lasted this long (three days) after each child has spent some time climbing on top of it.  it's nice that there has been a distraction from the growing pile of christmas gifts under the tree.  love.
