mason getting dressed

mason has shown a real interest in getting dressed (and undressed) recently.  madelyn never went through this phase and just recently started dressing and undressing herself willingly - she cares about what she wears; she just didn't want to do it. 

mason brings you his coat and/or shoes when he is ready to go (whether we are going any where or not), he will find socks and try to put them on, he tries to pull shirts on over his head, and tries to put pants on.  and he also take clothes (and diapers) off.  he has gotten stuck with one arm out and one arm in a shirt which is pretty funny.  pants have been removed for a while but now he slides his diaper up and down like underwear!  he gets them over his bottom pretty well.  occasionally he will be sporting some crack though.  i really think he is ready for potty training so as soon as matt brings back a potty from the house i am planning on giving it a go.

mason looks forward to getting dressed in the morning now.  he is much more willing than madelyn and picks out his shirt while i pick out his pants to go with it.  he will pick one shirt and then change his mind and hang it back up so that he can pick another.  his favorite seem to be his two "big brother" shirts and a polar bear printed t-shirt.  i think he favors shirts with words on them because he points to the letters for me to say them.  on tuesday he picked out his bob t-shirt so madelyn picked out her larry shirt.  they just happened to share the chair (not an everyday occurrence) so i took the photo op.  love.

i think that this one might be my new favorite picture of the two of them together.
