so the house is staged! it is a little weird to have all of this furniture in there that isn't ours (or necessarily our taste). i think it will show really well though. here are the pictures - not my best but matt was really worried about the kids breaking something.

Gorgeous! Love the hardwood floors. Why did they make they boys room a girl room and girl room a boy room? How did they stage the basement? (what use?) It would be weird to walk in and see other people's stuff, but maybe some ideas were presented? Are you going to attend the parade?
It's a beautiful home. Can't wait to see your touch to it.
I liked the bench with the table. The house looks great. I like the clock too. Your closet (not seen here) is so nice and big, could you put a dresser in it? Didn't remember if it was wide enough. I know you are going to love the place. So much storage :)

i thought that it was neat that they used a table with a bench since our table has benches. and, yes, we plan to put the tall drawers at the end of my closet.
they didn't really stage the basement beyond the pool table, etc. in the earlier post. i don't think that they intentionally did the rooms backwards. i think that they just did one of each and picked opposite of what we intend.
