welcome to sunny florida

it wouldn't be a trip to florida without a little rain.  given all the activity in the gulf, we were a little worried about if we would get much sunshine.  we only had one total rain out - and it was tuesday.  unfortunately, that was when we had scheduled outdoor family pictures.  oh well.

after we all went out for our free chick-fil-a breakfast, mom and i went out shopping while the guys watched the kids.  then back home to feast on left overs.

and of course we had to spend more time playing piano.  i spent so much time 'playing' at this piano growing up and it was fun to do it again with my kids!

since our plans for the evening (pictures) had been cancelled, matt and i decided that we would use the opportunity to go out to dinner alone - you know, while we had babysitters.  while we were gone, aunt abby came over with their kids to play some more.  grandma got out her super princess dress-up clothes for the girls.  it looks like they had a great time without us.  and we had a pretty great time without them too! love.
