killing time

every day this week we are driving 40 minutes to take madelyn to school and then 'hanging out' until it is time to pick her up and drive the 40 minutes back home.  yesterday, i took the boys to get a few things from the apartment and work on clean up.  it didn't go so great because there wasn't anything for them to do other than try to break blinds and doors.  today was going to be the only rain free day of the week so i thought that we would wait for madelyn at the park. 

i took them to the grocery store first to try and redeem a rain check.  of course they still didn't have what i wanted so we picked up a few donuts for a mid-morning snack at the park.  they were both pretty pleased with eating donuts at the park and it was a nice day for it.

 it wasn't as wet as i had thought that it would be so i let maddux do a little 'walking' around.  he loved it!  and he was so cute.  several kids came over to play with him too.

maddux thought that he could just climb up like mason.

it was a nice way to spend the morning and it makes me look forward to maddux getting really steady so that he can have fun too instead of just watching. love.
