the battery in our camera died at least a month ago, maybe two. and then i could not find the charger anywhere because mason had been using it as a 'flashlight' and maddux had taken a turn. when it finally turned up (after i had looked everywhere i could think) near the power strip under one of the office desks, the battery wouldn't hold a charge any more. we just got a replacement battery in the mail this week, so here are some missing pictures of maddux - aka "angel boy".the pictures are a little blurry because the camera was on some weird setting that i didn't realize until later. anyway... madelyn had been trying all morning to put these dress up wings on maddux, but he was having no part of it. after she gave up, he brought me the wings and wanted me to put them on. and then he wore them for several hours around the house. he really liked wearing those wings. funny enough, he hasn't asked to wear them since... love.

I guess Maddux has his own ideas about when to wear the wings and he wasn't going to let his sister tell him what to do. Too cute!
