museum day

we took a walk in the morning and then decided to head to the museum after lunch for some air conditioned fun.  brad and abby's museum pass from florida was good for free admission to our museum too - so it was some free fun which is always better!

on our way home from the museum we stopped by sonic for 'special drinks' to cool down for our afternoon snack.  we were going to try and fit in a trip to the pool before dinner but we just didn't make it with napping and chatting.

i had chosen to go out to dinner on tuesday night because it is 'kids night' at most restaurants. the restaurant had some trouble seating our whole group so we ended up at two different tables.  we were going to let the girls sit by themselves, but the boys ended up moving over too.  there was a lot of musical chairs throughout the meal.

we were joking that we cleared the section, but then the restaurant was sort of clearing out too...  the couple sitting next to the girls couldn't seem to get out fast enough.  we ordered appetizers in honor of grandma/mom (thanks for buying big pop and grandma!) and while it wasn't the most relaxing meal, it was nice to eat out. love.
