maddux was due for a new bike helmet this year; the old one just won't fit any more. there weren't a lot of options in his size. he really wanted an orange one but it was just way too big. when we found this black one with "spikes", he was sold. and so was mason. mason was a little sad that his own helmet still fits so well. his sweet brother felt his pain and offered to share the helmet with him. since it was too cold and rainy for bike riding, they have been taking turns wearing it inside and "spiking" each other. at least everyone is having fun! love.
