atlanta again

after goodbyes, we were in the car again and headed back to atlanta. we got there just in time for dinner. atlanta is always super yummy! we really miss the atlanta eats. it was SO good too. when shannon and earl were suggesting restaurants they threw out one and said "they have a room in the back where the kids could run around." sold. they had me at "run around." matt took a turn holding ollie and ollie kept looking at him like 'who are you?'

after dinner we headed back to shannon and earl's our sleeping spot for the night. ollie was even so generous as to give up his room for the kids. our kids were super excited for mr. earl to let them behind his drum set. he even got them set up to be a family band! it made me nervous because earl is a real drummer.

we are so lucky to have such great friends. i just asked shannon if we could stop by and sleep in their house before leaving first thing in the morning. so basically show up, disrupt their sleeping arrangements, create extra laundry and then leave without much visiting. because she is shannon (and loves me), she said of course! thank you, thank you! love.
