home again, home again

now this just seemed unfair, but i really wanted a picture with shannon (earl feeding ollie in the background) so i had to do it without a shower while shannon was totally ready for work and gorgeous. today was another car day for us and i didn't feel the need to put (any) effort into my appearance.

although we were meeting uncle derek for breakfast on our way out of town so maybe i should have tried a little to look presentable...

another full day in the car. i really can't tell you how amazing the kids were! we spent a lot, i mean a lot, of time in the car this week and they were awesome. we only stopped to eat and get gas (well, there was a stop on both ends of the trip when maddux just needed to go to the bathroom a little more after going during the stop so we stopped by the side of the road).

it was really, really nice to get home. i owe matt big time! love.
