visit with the greats

today, the kids' great-grandma z. and great-aunts su and chris came over to grandma and big pop's to visit with us. uncle josh brought over briana and brayden too. the kids were more than happy to spend the day playing, swimming, eating and visiting. plus, they love having an audience for showing their new toys (that their mean mommy won't let them open).

manning took a little breather with grandma's yellow blanket and his yellow bear that had to be laid out 'just so.'

we took a break from the heat to enjoy the newly working air conditioning...

after eating and resting, the kids were ready for some more swimming!

i am not sure who got more worn out - the kids or the dads.

and grandma got her "watermelon pictures."

the picture taking doesn't work out as well when everyone is in the pool, but i did grab one with my grandma. i wish we could see her more often.
