i haven't taken the kids to play at chick-fil-a since the last time when there was some sort of mix up about madelyn by other moms.  we had to go return some library books that i had forgotten when i returned the rest the night before (they were due on thursday so i renewed our 'check-out' online last night so that i wouldn't owe any late fees) and got a later start than i had planned so, of course, it made the most sense to eat lunch out and let the kids play for a while.

and just so you don't think that we only have bad experiences at chick-fil-a, i have gotten three phone numbers of other moms who would be interested in getting together for playdates.  i haven't been hit on this much since college! :)

we had a really great time and i was so excited because we came at the end of the lunch rush and the kids actually got to play almost by themselves towards the end.  mason even got brave enough to climb all the way up and come down the slide several times!  he climbed up a play area at mcdonalds his very first time but hasn't done so anywhere since.  i think he gets a little overwhelmed by the bigger kids speed around him.  he had so much fun that he didn't want to leave!  i literally had to grab him as he darted by from his last trip down the slide.  i am excited because he can burn off way more energy this way and took his longest nap in a week.  love.
