mason takes the camera for a spin

after dinner we were just hanging out and playing around.  i think i was taking some pictures of maddux in the exersaucer when mason wanted to have a turn.  i don't get many pictures of me with the kids, so i took a few of mason and me.  and then mason wanted to have a turn being the one to take the pictures...  he had a little trouble holding the camera steady while pushing the button and got a lot of fingers in the shots.  he also ended up with a lot of pictures of the floor and his feet from pushing the whole camera down when he tries to push the button.

madelyn wasn't as willing to 'pose' for mason and totally ignored him.

i tried to get in the frame as he was pointing the camera all over trying to point it at me and push the button at the same time.  he really likes how he can 'capture' someone in the camera screen for a few seconds.

this last picture is one mason took of the block table.  this has been his singular obsession for the past week.  he is there first thing in the morning and the last thing at night.  he is also very particular about which block goes where on the table.  he is so funny about it and spends hours each day at the table or playing with blocks in general.  it is a nice break from his wild and happy ways.  love.
