drywall!  it almost looks like a real house now.  madelyn did keep asking where the kitchen was - even through she knows where it is...  here are pictures from our visit.

when we went for week 4 i got a great video of madelyn giving a tour of her and the boys' room, but it was too large to post (i guess).  here is a reenactment she did quite begrudgingly.

it was a beautiful day, and we had the time, so we decided to take the trail running behind the house to a local shopping center and get some ice cream.  the walk was farther than we had expected.  i was wearing maddux in the moby wrap (which is why some of the above pictures are blurry - he kept pulling on the camera) and the other two walked.
in total it ended up being about 3 miles.  it was a very scenic walk through the woods.  even though it was a little warm, the trail was nicely shaded and it wasn't too bad.  there was a little more whining on the walk back to the car and matt did do a little carrying of the two older kids.  we can't wait to try it with bikes next summer!  love.

oooh, that will be so much fun for biking! I want to get one of those bike trailer things for two kids and a kid seat for the third. Exercise room- ooh la la. The house looks huge from the back outside picture.
