an afternoon outside with daddy usually involves popsicles. today the kids enjoyed their cool treats before spending a lot of time in the sprinkler; except maddux, he doesn't care for the cold water very much.
instead maddux ate/wore his melting popsicle before playing in the dirt with daddy, blowing bubbles and getting covered in sticky mess.
i had to take a picture of madelyn because seeing her laying in the grass made me super itchy. i don't know why she felt like laying on the dry, pokey grass, but it didn't seem to bother her at all.

Check you out, posting up to the last minute. I get the vibe you're just figuring out things to do to pass the time. The kids sure seem to be enjoying it, though :) Maybe MLG4 will be born on Father's Day. That'd be a cool gift.
a little bit of that - i just don't want to be too far from home and i get tired.
